Fear, Doubt, Stumped. Been There, Done That…
Are you looking at other people’s work and wishing you could “be that good?” At work, do you want to be the person who comes up with the brilliant innovative idea that changes the direction of a project in a whole new exciting direction? Have you faced a complex problem and felt overwhelmed (for me, I go blank!) and discouraged when there is no readily apparent solution?
Or did you have a great idea, started down the path, and then found your inspiration has left the building and your creative fire doused?
Me too! I have stopped at the uncomfortable part and turned back. I’ve thought I just wasn’t smart enough to get where I longed to go. Luckily, I found mentors and encouragers that shook me out of that faulty thinking. And I learned to stay with it, trust and move forward.
You can open the same doors and let those seedbops move you to the life you wanted even if you are afraid you don’t have the right stuff.
I’ve learned to sally forth with fear and doubt as my friend, trusting that I, too, can find something wonderful if I only stay open and aware that what seem like obstacles can be doorways. I learned to accept myself and my process and let ideas and solutions come to me.
I have lots of blessing and curse qualities – type A personality (Enneagram 1!), nerdy (INTJ), anxious, prone to melancholy and overthinking, a propensity to try super hard (forcing and controlling maybe? Oops!), and be really frustrated when I can’t fix it or get the results I want. My guides have shown me that what makes me me – warts and all – are the ingredients of my unique creativity. Be friends with yourself – you are your own secret sauce.
You have read and heard all kinds of information and advice, much of it conflicting. There are no recipes; it is about finding what works for you. We’re not here for long. So why not? Choose life and embark on the journey.
Cultivate and recognize seedbops. Then take inspired action!
It’s about what makes your soul sing. And when you unleash your soul, magical things start to happen. It’s all interconnected – creativity, artistic genius, innovation, spirituality, business success, radical self-acceptance, and a fulfilling life.
Let me be your guide to radical self-acceptance, letting go of fear, trusting the process - discomfort and all, taking inspired action, and moving forward with passion. I can equip you with tools, techniques, and support to tap into your creative genius. I can walk with you through the rough patches.
You can be cutting edge, stand out in your field, and feel like you are on to something. You can bring hope and positive, creative energy to your future.
Oh, and a few more bits about me…
When I’m not working with emerging creative geniuses, I’m consulting with local government managers, painting Plein air, and spending time with my three cats, George, Alice, baby Esther, and six egg-laying genius hens. I live in Colorado in the mystical and spectacularly beautiful San Luis Valley, surrounded by the spirits of the Cuchareños. My three grown kids (including twins) are launched and living out their creativity in Pittsburgh and Seattle. My grandson JP is the smartest, cutest kid in the universe next to your kid. When I’m out of energy, I watch House Hunters International and true crime while playing Two Dots. I’m saving up kipper snack tins to hold tiny individual memorials to my lifelong losses in a wall-sized shadow box. My art is both my joy and my solace.
